The US company Canela Media, specialized in digital media technology and focused on the US Hispanic market, officially launched Canela.TV in the country, its new OTT with content aimed at this audience. As reported by the specialized website TAVI Latam, Canela.TV was also launched in Puerto Rico, and the company plans to launch it throughout Latin America in 2021.
Access to the platform is free, and those who wish to enter must register themselves in advance. The available catalog brings together more than 8 thousand hours of VOD content, both in Spanish and English, including comedies, series, documentaries, cartoons, movies, and others.

At its launch, the Canela.TV catalog consists of content produced by its main partners, including Atresmedia (Spain); Caracol TV (Colombia); Polka (Argentina), and others. The OTT is available through its web version, as well as through Roku, Apple TV, Android TV and Amazon Fire TV. It can also be accessed from mobile devices, by downloading the app from the App Store or Google Play.
