The Colombian pay-TV operator HV Television (HV TV) removed Win Sports and Win Sports+ – the new recently launched premium TV channel – from its programming grid, and added the PX Sports channel, focused on extreme sports, exclusively for Cundinamarca and Antioquia, as reported by the operator on its official website.
‘At the end of the process we could not run an agreement to include Win Sports and Win Sports+. However, we are very interested in coming to terms later to be able to broadcast Win Sports +’, Alejandro Reyes Peña, Manager of HV TV, told Nextv News.
Win Sports +, officially launched last January 20th, bases its programming on football content and, according to Jaime Parada, Executive President at Win Sports, will broadcast 60 matches a month on average. With the removal of HV TV, the companies that will have Win Sports+ available are DirecTV, Claro, Movistar, Tigo, ETB and Emcali.
