¡HOLA! TV strengthens itself in the US Hispanic market with Charter Communications

The pay TV channel ¡HOLA! TV (Atresmedia) announced that it has ran an agreement with Charter Communications to join Spectrum’s Latin programming. As officially reported by Atresmedia, the channel will be available on ‘Mi Plan Latino’ and ‘Latino View’ packages of the US operator.

‘This new launch in the US allows us to strengthen the channel in a very competitive market, which further enhances this agreement with Charter Communications’, said Marcos Perez, CEO & General Manager at ¡HOLA! TV. As described by Atresmedia, through the agreement, it’s channel ‘continues its expansion through the Hispanic market in the US, where it is already available on its main operators, with an original and quality offer that has made it a benchmark, especially in issues related with royal houses from all over the world, fashion, celebrities and lifestyle’.

¡HOLA! TV offers a catalog with more than 700 original productions hours and, as reported by Atresmedia, premieres on Spectrum with content such as ‘La Hora Perdida’, focused on information about celebrities, royalty and fashion; ‘Top Estilo’, dedicated to the red carpets developed in the last awards ceremonies such as premieres and other events; ‘Coronas y Palacios’, which offers a close tour of the world of royalty; and others.

Apart from the agreement between Atresmedia and Charter Communications, the company created the ‘Buendía Estudios’ joint venture with Telefonica, to produce series and films in Spanish worldwide. The Spanish company has also been announcing news this year regarding Atrescine, its pay TV channel focused on Spanish films. The channel entered Izzi, Blim and Totalplay catalogs in Mexico to strengthen its offer in that country. Later, it joined Movistar TV in Colombia, and even ran an agreement with Telecom to be part of the Cablevision Flow content offer in Argentina.
