Home and Garden TV (HGTV), the American basic cable and satellite television channel owned by Scripps Networks Interactive, has revealed to bring its shows across the regions of Oman. The channel will be screened through beIN and will be available in more than 40 countries across the globe.
Among the popular shows to be on offer to the audience of Oman and Middle East and North Africa region, will be Brother vs Brother and Listed Sisters, Fixer Upper and Flip or Flop (presented by Tarek El Moussa and wife Christina). The lifestyle channel, HGTV, will revolve around home improvement, DIY (do it yourself), design, real estate and landscaping.
Phillip Luff, the managing director of United Kingdom and EMEA’s Scripps Networks Interactive, said: “There is a huge global appetite for our shows as they are not just entertaining, but they are truly relatable and inspirational”.
He further said that: “Everyone is always on the lookout to recreate a homely feeling, whether it’s a simple DIY paint job, or understanding the property market to secure your next home, and this is definitely the case in the MENA region where many people have several property investments around the world”.
