Guigo TV launches new offer for ISPs in Brazil

Pay TV OTT Guigo TV, officially launched in Brazil in 2018, has ecently launched a new offer, through which it plans to offer its f linear pay TV channels via streaming and VOD content catalog  to Internet Service Providers (ISPs) in the country.

As reported on the platform’s official website, its channel catalog is distributed in five packages. The first of them is called ‘Guigo Basico’ (41 channels, to which SBT will join soon); with Brazilian channels such as Record TV, Rede TV! Band, TV Gazeta, as well as channels from other Latin American countries, such as TV Azteca (AZ Mundo, AZ Corazon, AZ Clic, AZ Cinema) and RCN (Nuestra Tele Internacional; RCN Novelas). The remaining packages are ‘Guigo Esportes’, which includes ESPN Brasil; ESPN; ESPN 2 and BandSports; ’Guigo Novelas’ (TLN Network and Catalogo de Novelas VOD); ‘Guigo Infantil’ (Disney Channel, Disney XD and, soon, ZooMoo Kids) and ‘Guigo Familia’ (AMC, Disney Channel, Disney XD, Film & Arts, Eurochannel, Arte 1, BandSports, BandNews, Smithsonian and Agromais) Guigo TV offers each of them for a different monthly subscription.

Up to now, Guigo TV has not announced the partners to whom it will offer its content catalog, although ISPs may offer more competitive packages with the channels already mentioned. Currently, Guigo TV channels packages are available for subscriptions ranging between R$ 12.90 (USD 2) and R$ 20.90 (USD 4) per month.
