US platform fuboTV, whose catalog focuses on broadcasting sports live TV events, has officially announced this last Thursday, April 8th that it has acquired the exclusive live streaming rights to the Qatar World Cup 2022 Qualifying matches of the South American Football Confederation, in partnership with the 10 South American teams. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
As officially reported by futbTV, through the new partnership, the company has acquired the exclusive OTT live streaming rights for 70 of the remaining Qatar World Cup Qualifiers. Matches are currently scheduled to begin in June. In addition, from fuboTV they have also confirmed that matches will be available both in Spanish and English, and that the platform will also produce original programming focused on the competition that faces National Teams of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Paraguay, Uruguay and Venezuela.
