After the first Nextv Series Andean’s edition, Dataxis continues with its virtual events scheduled for 2021, and will be in charge of organizing the second Nextv Sport Latin America’s virtual edition The conference will take place on Tuesday, May 4th and Wednesday, May 5th, and will bring together eight discussion panels and a one-on-one session. The panel that will open the new edition of the conference is entitled ‘Football networks and the new pay TV business: from sports TV networks to D2C’, and will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, May 4th, between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM (CDMX). Some of the key topics to be developed and debated during the event will focus on the ideal time to build a standalone OTT for sports; the link between TV Everywhere and the new monetization for streaming platforms; subscription, freemium, live PPV and ad-supported models; how to reach Hispanics in the US and the rest of the world as an add-on OTT, and other related issues.
