Fanatiz increases its content offering in Mexico in partnership with Claro Sports

The SVOD OTT Fanatiz, focused on sports content, has recently announced a new partnership with the pay TV channel Claro Sports (America Movil) in Mexico, where it was launched in May, through which the platform increases its content catalog in the country.

According to the information reported, the partnership includes the addition of football matches from the US and the Mexican Professional Football League (Liga MX), as well as MMA matches and broadcasts from the German Professional Football League (Bundesliga). 2021-2022 and the remaining matches of this edition of the Copa Libertadores, from the Round of 16 matches, which will begin this week, until the Final of the competition that brings together the most important clubs in Latin America.

In addition, and also as part of this alliance, starting in July, Fanatiz’s audience will be able to access, through Claro Sports, official programming of the Olympic Games, content from the Olympic Channel and the event’s competitions, including the Opening and Closure ceremonies. In addition, Fanatiz will broadcast in Mexico matches of series A and B of the Brasileirão, the Professional Football League that takes place in Brazil.

Maias Rivera, CEO & Founder at Fanatiz, explained that almost two months after being launched in Mexico, the service continues working in order to consolidate itself as the platform with the greatest variety and quality in competitions and sports. ‘Our offer includes matches from the Argentine, Brazilian and Italian leagues, included into the best 10 in the world and now, together with Claro Sports, we add the complete coverage of Tokyo 2020, one of the most anticipated events in the world; but also other niche sports such as US football and college basketball, World Wrestling Council matches and MMA, the European Swimming League, to name a few’, he said.

Claro Sports programming will be included in the Front-Row Plan, which offers a free seven-day trial period and is available for only MX$ 79 (USD 4) per month, which brings together all the matches of the Copa America 2021, already disputed; matches of the series A and B of the Brasileirao; the Argentine Football League (as of July 16th); and programming of channels such as RCN (Colombia), with the broadcast of the professional football league’s matches that are played in that country; Dugout; Tigo Sports, through which the Guatemalan League is broadcasted; RAI Italia, which offers up to 4 Italian football matches per week; Inter TV; Lazio TV and Golf Channel.

Fanatiz clients will be able to access the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games through four channels that Claro Sports will enable, with access to 15 hours a day of competitions, and other related content.
