ESPN agrees with Bundesliga to broadcast matches in South America until 2026

ESPN made an agreement with Bundesliga and obtained the exclusive rights of FTA, paid and digital TV, to broadcast their matches in almost all of South America for the next five years. Since this season, the channel will offer the best German soccer to their audiences in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.

As detailed in the contract that covers from august of 2021 till 2026, all the encounters will be available in english and spanish, and the network will also transmit Germany’s Super Cup, with all the promotion and descense instances of the tournament. 

“We are very excited to develop even more this trust association with ESPN, that will allow us to bring the intensity of the Bundesliga soccer to all the spanish talking fans in South America. They have a big passion for the Bundesliga that has developed through the years because of the many great players that came from South America”, Robert Klein, Bundesliga International’s CEO, said.
