After its official launch in the US, Canada and Holland on November 12th, Disney confirmed the arrival of Disney+ at Puerto Rico. The monthly subscription is valued at USD 6.99, or USD 69.9 per year. Puerto Rican customers will also be able to hire a package with Disney+, ESPN + and Hulu contents for USD 12.99 per month, as Disney confirmed before the launch of its new OTT that, apart from Puerto Rico, was also launched yesterday in Australia and New Zealand.
The Disney+ catalog brings together several Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic episodes, together with the company’s original productions. Some of the most relevant originals are The Mandalorian, the first live action series in the Star Wars saga, The Lady and the Trump, a live action version of the 1955 animated classic, and many others. Before launching its OTT, Disney released a video with all the contents that are now available on the platform.
Disney+ offers its subscribers a high quality image without advertising, up to four simultaneous broadcasts, unlimited downloads on up to 10 devices, personalized recommendations and the ability to configure up to seven different profiles. In addition, parents can establish profiles for children, which have an easy-to-navigate interface to access age-appropriate content.
Disney + subscriptions can be made directly on the platform’s website, or through Amazon’s associated devices, smart TVs Fire TV edition, Fire tablets); Apple (iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Apple TV; fully integrated with Apple TV app. (Users can subscribe to Disney+ by buying from the app); Google (Android phones, Android TVs, Google Chromecast and devices with Chromecast integrated); LG smart TVs with webOS; Microsoft (Xbox One); Samsung smart TVs; Sony / Sony Interactive Entertainment (all Sony TVs with Android and Play Station 4) and Roku (STBs and Roku TV models).
