Disney catalog not to be available on Amazon Prime Video as of October

As reported by various specialized websites, due to the confirmation of Disney+ arrival at Latin America, scheduled for next November 17th, the Disney catalog will be removed from Amazon Prime Video on September 30th.

As reported by Diego Lerner, President of The Walt Disney Company Latin America, upon confirming the full Disney+ catalog in Latin America, the platform will be the exclusive place for a selection of films and series from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic.

Last year, Amazon Prime Video and Disney had run an agreement that lasted between October 1st, 2019 and September 2020, for selected Disney titles to be available on Amazon’s OTT throughout Latin America. In addition, as reported by several specialized websites, Disney titles are not also available on Netflix since this last September 1st, in order to move to Disney+.
