The FIBA Basketball World Cup, which this time will be held at eight locations in the main Chinese cities, will be available between August 31st and September 15th on DirecTV and the DirecTV Sports App, DirecTV Sports.com and DirecTV GO platforms.

32 teams will participate in the competition for the first time. For Latin America, Venezuela will be part of Group A, Argentina will be in Group B, Puerto Rico in Group C, Brazil in Group F, and the Dominican Republic in Group G. All of them will try to beat the US, the last two edition’s winner.

The event will be available in HD and its final in 4K UHD on the DirecTV 4K channel. The Latin American debut will take place on August 31st, when Poland faces Venezuela for the group stage of the competition.
