Deal or no deal arrives at Uruguay through Teledoce

Uruguayan FTA TV channel Teledoce announced it will adapt Endemol Shine’s format Deal or no deal in the country. As reported by the TV channel, its local name will be ‘Trato Hecho’, and it will be presented by Uruguayan ex football player Sebastian Abreu. This is a new Teledoce international bet, after adapting Master Class (Keshet) and My name (also from Endemol Shine) in Uruguay.

‘It is a TV program that our programming area chose, fought and sought. For several months now we are working on the pre-production stage, and knowing that it will be presented by Sebastian is a plus for the channel’, said Alexandra Morgan, Production Manager at Teledoce.

In Deal or no deal, each participant must choose one of the 26 available briefcases, each with different amounts of money. Later, the person taking part of the game must select, one by one, the remaining 25 briefcases to reveal their content. Throughout the game, the player is offered an amount of money or prizes, in case he decides to leave the competition. If he removes all other briefcases, rejecting every deal that is offered to him, he will keep the chosen one initially, with the money inside. The participant will win the game depending on whether the money inside the briefcase is higher or lower than the amounts offered in the deals.

Deal or no deal’s arrival at Uruguay is added to other recent launches in Brazil, Mexico and the US.
