DAZN premieres its first original film in Brazil

After having released the series Saudade, Sem Filtro: Flamengo and the recently announced De Volta: Vasco, the sports OTT announced that it will launch its first original film in Brazil, which will also be titled ‘Sem Filtro: Flamengo’, but will be focused from a different point of view than the series.

‘Sem Filtro: Flamengo’ had had seven 15-minutes episodes, and focused itself on showing the club’s backstage during the second half of 2019, both in the Brazilian Championship and in the Copa Libertadores, with exclusive images and statements from relevant people linked to the club. The film will have a similar format, but will focus its plot on the last Copa Libertadores Final, when, on November 23rd last year, Flamengo won the competition after beating River Plate (Argentina) at the Monumental Stadium in Lima, Peru.

In Brazil, DAZN announced a reduction in the price of its monthly subscription and, since May last year, it has acquired the rights to broadcast the Paranaense Championship, the Copa Sudamericana, the C Series of the Brazilian Championship, the Premier League, the Italian Serie A, the MX League, Ligue 1 of France, the Turkish Championship and various basketball, tennis and wrestling competitions. The OTT has also made its first eSports broadcast in the country.
