The sports OTT DAZN announced the launch of The Making Of, its first original documentary series, which will feature Brazilian football players Ronaldo, Neymar Jr and Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho. The series will be simultaneously released in Brazil, Germany, Austria, Canada, Spain, the US, Italy, Japan and Switzerland, where the platform is currently available.
With nine episodes of 25 minutes each, directed by Dan Riley and produced by Ian Henderson, The Making Of offers personal stories told by great football stars worldwide, who will remember three key matches in their careers and personal lives. They will be broadcast together with some testimonies from their rivals in each sporting event.
Although the OTT had previously premiered documentary series such as The Journey: Canelo/Rocky and Lo llevamos en la sangre, both have been released only in local territories, before the premiere of a related sports competition. In The Making Of case, its launch will be at a global level, and it will include countries where it is available, without any connection to any competition broadcast by DAZN.
Juan Delgado, Chief Ventures Officer at DAZN, is one of the confirmed speakers in the next Sportv Series Latin America event, which will take place next October 2nd at the Biltmore Hotel in Miami, US, organized by Dataxis.
