Dataxis resumes its webinars agenda with debate on how to choose the right OTT strategy for pay TV offers

Going on with its 2021 virtual events agenda, Dataxis announces that it will hold a new webinar, called ‘Choosing the right OTT strategy for your pay TV service’, which will be held in English, and will take place next Thursday, August 19th at 12:00 PM (ART). Executives gathered by Dataxis to star in the debate will be Jan Macků, VP Sales & Business Development at Hibox Systems Oy Ab; Paloma Santucci, Regional Director Latin America at Accedo; Adriana Naves, Head of Content Distribution Latin America at Roku; and Mauricio Almeida, Co-Founder at Watch TV.

 Extending a traditional Pay TV service to OTT is a challenge. There is a huge complexity in OTT solutions, due to lack of standards, rapidly changing technology, proprietary interfaces and many different vendors and systems required to launch a new OTT solution. For Pay TV operators, it is challenging to absorb the required knowledge to smoothly build and operate a new OTT TV service.

This way, some of the main topics to be developed during the webinar will focus on what to look for in an OTT platform; how to monetize a pay TV service together with an OTT platform; how to implement the best content for OTT distribution; what devices are needed to support in the process; and other related issues.
