The new season of “Doctor Who” will be available exclusively in Latin America through Crackle, Sony Pictures Television’s streaming service. It will debut on Sunday, October 7, the same day of its world premiere.
This year marks the beginning of a new era: Jodie Whittaker made history after being cast as the first female lead of “Doctor Who”. The series also has a new showrunner, Chris Chibnall. Whittaker’s first appearance took place in season 10 Christmas special, “Twice Upon A Time”, which is also available on Crackle.
New episodes of Season 11 will be launched every Sunday, with subtitles in Portuguese and Spanish, and dubbed versions will be released later. Users can subscribe to Crackle through pay TV operators. The service has apps for iOS and Android, Apple TV 4, Chromecast (with iOS system), Xbox One, PS4 and Sony Smart TVs (HTML5), and is also available through their website.
