Club Universidad de Chile launches ‘La U Play’, its new SVOD OTT

The sports club Universidad de Chile, better known as ‘La U’, has officially announced this last Thursday the launch of ‘La U Play’, its new SVOD OTT with exclusive content, which includes anecdotes from football players, unpublished memories and information from the football professional team, the women’s team and Azules Esports -esports division of the Club Universidad de Chile- and other related content.

‘La U Play’ offers a free subscription with basic content; as well as different options for paid subscriptions: a monthly option of CH$ 1,690 (USD 2); another quarterly, for CH$ 4,990 (USD 6.5); another half-yearly option, valued at CH$ 9,390 (USD 12.25); and another annual, for CH $ 17,990 (USD 23.4). Paid subscriptions offer access to all the exclusive content available on the platform. In addition, a 15% discount is included for club members. As reported from the Club Universidad de Chile’s website, the entity launched the platform in partnership with GAD, a company specialized in creating digital experiences.

‘We are proud to be pioneers in the technological area and be able to move forward on La U’s digital transformation. There, subscribers can find the best stories and our daily experiences at the Centro Deportivo Azul (CDA) -complex belonging to the Chilean sports institution-, allowing everyone to get closer to the Club’, said Diego Rivarola, Sports Advisor at the Club Universidad de Chile.
