Claro Sports is launched in Mexico through Totalplay

Totalplay and Claro Sports announced that the Latin American sports content channel is already available in Totalplay’s Basic and Extended Basic plans. Subscribers can access it on the operator’s channel 521 (HD), and through its mobile application. The offer is valid for clients from Cancun, Celaya, Chihuahua, Cuernavaca, Guadalajara, Juarez, Leon, Merida, Monterrey, Morelia, Pachuca, Playa del Carmen, Puebla, Queretaro, San Luis de Potosi, Tijuana, Toluca, Veracruz, Xalapa, Mexico City and the Metropolitan Area.

‘Claro Sports content offer will allow our subscribers to enjoy the widest range of sports content options’, said Hugo Adrian Hernandez, Totalplay’s Television and Content Acquisition Director Claro Sports has also expressed itself about the agreement. Jose Aboumrad, the company’s Director, said that they are ‘very happy to have achieved this agreement with Totalplay, since we will be able to grow our audience with a new experience in the way of broadcasting and sharing all sports activity emotion’.

Some of the main contents that will be offered by Claro Sports on Totalplay will be the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, as well as the Olympic Channel and daily productions such as Deportes en Claro, Jugando Claro, Game Plan and El Gol es Claro. It also includes content related to Mexican wrestling, mixed martial arts, women’s volleyball Serie A in Italy, football and basketball in the US, apart from international triathlon, cycling, gymnastics and swimming championships. Claro Sports subscribers will also enjoy  Mexican athletes activities abroad.
