‘At Claro, we are always trying to offer solutions that meet our client’ needs for connectivity. For this reason, in August, we began to market our fiber optic in the country. People interested in verifying if their area is part of the first stage, can do so through any of our customer service channels. Increasing the reach and connecting more people with this stable service is our main objective’, said Carolina Sanchez, Claro Costa Rica’s spokesperson.

Plans, called ‘Ultra Conectados 1’; ‘Ultra Conectados 2’; ‘Ultra Conectados 3’ and ‘Ultra Conectados 4’, offer download speeds of between 40 mbps and 500 mbps, and upload speeds of between 10 and 50 mbps, and their monthly prices changes between USD 35 and USD 268. According to Steven Arias, Project Manager of the Fiber Optic service, this is a very strong investment that the company is making and the idea is to expand it, in the medium term, to the entire Metropolitan Area.
