Chilean Football League won’t be on FTA

Hours after Chilean Professional Football National Association (ANFP) confirmed that National Football Championship of that country was going to be broadcasted on FTA, Chilean TV network Chilevision’s (Turner Group)  managers ensured that ‘there are clauses that make it impossible’ because of legal items.

From ANFP also pointed that Chilean football matches broadcasting was not fully confirmed, and acknowledge that ‘they hastened in announcing the information’.

League  is expected to start in mid-February and, after championship’s acquisition by Tourner Group, Chilevision Network is planned to change its name to TNT Sports, similar to Argentina. First match to be broadcasted on FTA would be the one between Universidad Catolica and Coquimbo Unido, last First and Second League champions. Game will take place next Friday February 15th at 8:30 PM (Chilean time).
