The Chilean premium channel CDF began to broadcast all its live programming via streaming, becoming the first Chilean TV channel to implement this way to air its contents. Although the measure began to be implemented this week, previously, and in line with the sanitary recommendations due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the channel had begun to air its contents remotely.
This way, programs such as ‘Pelota parada’, ‘Abrazo de gol’ and ‘Todos somos tecnicos’ have been made with as few collaborators as possible, only with the TV presenters from the studio and the rest of the panelists from the programs from their homes . But, from this week, both TV presenters and the rest of the staff of each program will be able to broadcast from their homes. For this, CDF granted a broadcasting pack to each TV presenter, consisting of a tripod, a professional camera, a lighting kit, a cable microphone and a wireless one. Broadcasts are made through Liveu, and during the last days the channel staff was trained to carry them out.
‘We have worked to innovate by implementing new formats that allow us to continue delivering quality content to our audience, while continuing to protect all our staff in this health crisis. For this reason, today we become the first TV network in the country that broadcasts 100% of its live contents via streaming’, said Robert Nicholson, Content Manager at CDF.
