Cartoon Network renews its OTT strategy with Cartoon Network App

Children’s TV channel Cartoon Network (Turner) announced the launch of a new OTT, which it called the ‘Cartoon Network App’, and brings together the brand’s best content in one place. As reported by the company through a promotional video, the platform brings together contents from CN GO and CN Ya (which operates in Brazil as CN Já), and is accessible from iOS and Android mobile phones, tablets and through its web version.

‘On the new Cartoon Network video platform, you will find full seasons and original productions of the brand, such as ‘We bare bears’, ‘Mao Mao: Heroes of Pure Heart’, ‘Steven Universe’ and much more. And you will also enjoy exclusive first-hand releases’, they officially reported from Cartoon Network. Likewise, the OTT allows to catch-up all the episodes broadcast on the linear TV channel and to create a list of favorite episodes and programs, apart from choosing the content in Spanish, Portuguese, or English, receiving recommendations according to the most viewed series, and having up to three simultaneous accesses.

‘Cartoon Network has a wide contact points ecosystem with fans, and its new video platform comes to offer a new entertainment option for both children and adults who enjoy our shows’, said Artur Tilieri, Director of Digital Media at Cartoon Network. ‘It is an easy-to-use digital product for the whole family, bringing together favorite characters and shows in one place’, added the executive. Cartoon Network App is available for download on the App Store and Google Play.
