Caribbean operators to discuss new pay TV and OTT models

The fifth edition of NexTV CEO Latin America, on November 1 & 2 at The Biltmore Hotel in Miami, will feature the participation of leading operators from Central America and the Caribbean in a special panel dedicated to new pay TV and OTT models in the region.
The panel will discuss topics such as competition with big operators like Digicel and Cable & Wireless, how to package content for each Caribbean culture, the possibility of implementing IPTV or OTT over 4G, how to address the demand for advanced pay TV services and the deployment of Android IP boxes in DVB-T services, among others.
The executive panel will feature Rochus Schreiber, CEO at Belize Telemedia Limited; Patrice Bayard, Vice President & Co Founder of Access Haiti; Chris Dehring, CEO of ReadyTV; Alvin Obersi, CEO of WTN Cable and Hugo Condesa, CEO of WeTek.
Belize Telemedia Limited is a telecommunications company established in 1972. It operates an extensive network and offers Landline, Fixed Broadband, and Mobile services. In turn, Access Haiti provides TV for and Internet services via Wimax, LTE and fiber. It was launched in Port-au-Prince in March 2001 and currently has a team of 400 employees.
ReadyTV is the wireless TV service, launched in 2017, of Digital Interactive Services Limited (DISL), an independent, privately owned Jamaican company. For its part, WTN Cable provides a DVB-T wireless system and its major customers are the large hotels in St. Maarten.
