On Tuesday, September 3rd, the Colombian FTA TV channel Caracol Television officially presented ‘Bolivar: el hombre, el amante, el libertador’, its new original production, described as ‘the most ambitious in Caracol’s history’. The series, written by Juana Uribe, is focused on how Simon Bolivar’s -the most important historical referent in Colombia- liberating revolution started.
‘It is a series in which we have been working for four years. From there, we had a long research and design process lead by Juana Uribe and her team, with great rigor and imagination’, said Dago Garcia, Production and Content VP at Caracol Television.
As Caracol Televisión officially reported, the project’s production group traveled for more than eight months to find the landscapes, cities and towns where Bolívar’s life took place. The series will arrive ‘very soon’ to Caracol Televisión. The series is available on Netflix since June.
