Brazilian football clubs to have exclusive content available on Facebook Watch

Facebook announced a partnership agreement with Brazilian football clubs Athletico Paranaense, Atletico Mineiro, Corinthians, Cruzeiro, Flamengo, Grêmio, Internacional, Palmeiras, Santos, São Paulo and Vasco da Gama, for which the 11 teams will have exclusive content available on Facebook Watch.

Those already mentioned contents will add more than 67 production hours distributed in more than 800 videos, and will be available on the tams Facebook profile accounts. Videos will focus on several contents related to the football clubs, such as the behind-the-scenes of the  main matches, curiosities, the clubs idols stories, and others.   

‘This agreement with some of the biggest clubs in Brazil brings an even greater variety of exclusive sports content to Facebook Watch, where football fans can find a unique connection and interaction space with their teams and with the community on Facebook’, said Pitter Rodriguez, Strategic Media Partnerships, Sports at Facebook in Brazil.

Apart from the already mentioned exclusive content agreement with Brazilian football teams, Facebook also has active alliances for exclusive series on Facebook Watch. It also has the rights to broadcast the Conmebol Libertadores in Latin America until 2022 and the UEFA Champions League until the 2021 season.
