ViacomCBS International Studios (VIS) announced this Thursday, January 27th that it has run a partnership agreement with Televisa’s OTT Blim TV, in order to add some of its titles into the platform’s catalog. As a result of the partnership, Blim TV will make various titles from the VIS catalog and ViacomCBS brands available to its subscribers. Likewise, the platform will also launch its AVOD version, which will be launched this year.

We are extremely proud and happy to know that Blim TV subscribers in Mexico will be able to enjoy some of our best productions as we gain more visibility in the region’, reported Eduardo Lebrija, EVP Chief Commercial Officer at ViacomCBS Networks Americas.
Some of the VIS productions listed as part of the agreement between VIS and Blim TV include, International Emmy Award nominated series, and Rose d’Or (Best Soap Opera of 2020) award recipient ‘Pequeña Victoria’, the police series ‘Los Internacionales’, starred by Argentine actress Cecilia Roth and Colombian actor Juan Pablo Shuk, which premiered on the FTA TV channel Telefe and on pay TV on Flow, Cablevision’s streaming platform; and ‘Atrapa a un ladron’, a based on Alfred Hitchcock’s hit movie ‘To Catch A Thief’. The agreement also includes many of the ViacomCBS titles like ‘Dora the Explorer’; ‘Go, Diego Go’ and ‘Paw Patrol’, by Nickelodeon; and ‘Super Shore’, by MTV.
