The Brazilian DTT channel Band, belonging to the Bandeirantes Communication Group, agreed with the sports OTT DAZN to broadcast one match from each Brazilian Football Championship serie C’s fixture date. The agreement began last Saturday, June 8th, when both companies broadcasted the match that faced the Remo and Volta Redonda teams, which took place at the Estadual Edgar Augusto Proença Stadium , located in the state of Pará.

Broadcasts developed by Band can be watched it the Amazonas, Alagoas, Amapá, Bahia, Ceará, Maranhão, Pará, Paraíba, Pernambuco, Piauí, Rio Grande do Norte, Rondônia, Roraima and Sergipe states. The competition full and live coverage has DAZN’s exclusivity.

The competition is celebrating its thirtieth edition and is being disputed by 20 football clubs from Brazil, divided into two groups, named A and B. In each group, teams face each other in round-trip matches, totaling 18 rounds. The four best teams in each group move towards the elimination phase. Later, the two teams that have shown the lowest performance will descend to the D category of Brazilian football, and those who became the four semifinalists of the competition will automatically ascend to the B series, starting next year.

 Juan Delgado, DAZN’s CVO, will be one of the speakers that will participate in the Sportv Series Latin America 2019 event, which will take place next October 2nd at the Biltmore Hotel in Miami. It will be organized by Dataxis.
