In its Q4 2019 results report, AT&T reported 13.3 million subscribers to Vrio, the company’s subsidiary that manages DirecTV operations in Latin America. The already mentions figure means a 25 thousand subscribers increase compared with those recorded in Q3, and a 507 thousand subscribers decrease in relation to Q4 2018, when the company had 13.8 million customers in the region.
From the end of Q1 2018 up to December 31st, 2019, the highest subscribers number for Vrio took place in Q3 2018 (13.8 million), and the lowest in the las 18-month period was in Q3 last year, with 13.306 million.
In Q4 2019, the company recorded operating revenues valued at USD 982 million, the lowest figure recorded since the end of Q1 2018. The number means a USD 31 million decrease in relation to Q3 2019, and a USD 92 million annual lost, compared to Q4 2018.
