Apple would launch its OTT in November at USD 9.99 per month

After The Walt Disney Company announced its OTT Disney+ arrival in Australia, Canada, the Netherlands and New Zealand, Bloomberg reported that Apple will also make a global launch of its OTT in November, as it has confirmed last March. According to Bloomberg, Apple TV+ will cost USD 9.99 per month and offer a free trial.

Bloomberg also reported that Apple’s platform will have a small selection of shows, and then it plans to expand its content catalog month by month. As reported by Financial Times, Apple will invest up to USD 6 billion in original productions.

In the same report, Financial Times informed that only The Morning Show, Apple’s first original series, will have two 10 episode seasons and each one will cost USD 150 million. In addition, Apple has already confirmed other original series, such as Amazing Stories (directed by Steven Spielberg), See and Truth to be told (with Octavia Spencer). The Apple TV+ offer joins other coming OTTs like HBO Max (WarnerMedia), Disney+ and NBC Universal.
