Vera+, the online channel of the Uruguayan telecommunications company Antel, will offer the 64 matches of the soccer World Cup in Russia in HD and 4K HDR through its renewed mobile app.
The company said that the app will offer users notifications of games, statistics, highlights and news, as well as the possibility to choose between the 37 HD cameras and 8 with 4K HDR technology. In turn, the Vera+ will launch new original shows, including “Misión Rusia”; “Ensalada rusa”; “La previa del Mundial”; “El fútbol no siempre fue así”; “Eterna Celeste”; “Familia Celeste” and “Lo mejor de Rusia”. Currently, the Vera+ app has more than one million users.
Antel announced this news during an event held on Thursday, April 19, with the participation of the company’s President, Andrés Tolosa; the president of the Uruguayan Soccer Association (AUF), Wilmar Valdéz; former Uruguayan player and coach, Víctor Espárrago; as well as clients, channel personalities and media.
