America Movil to launch Claro Box TV in all Latin American countries where the company is now operating

During the conference with analysts that took place due to America Movil’s Q1 2021 results report presentation, Daniel Haikk, CEO of the company, informed that the streaming device Claro Box TV, now only available in Brazil, will also be launched in the rest of the countries in which the company is currently operating.

The device can be combined with Pay TV channels and internet offers. The basic subscription brings together a catalog of Brazilian pay TV channels, as well as streaming platforms owned by America Móvil in Brazil, such as Now and Claro Video. In addition,  clients can also hire for additional OTT platforms such as Netflix, Globoplay, Paramount+, Amazon Prime Video, Facebook Watch and others, which must be paid as standalone platforms. In addition, it is possible to pay for additional packages with premium content, such as the sports Premiere, Combate, Campeonato Carioca, Conmebol TV, Copa do Nordeste; and even HBO, Starz Play, Starz Premium, and others.

According to Oscar Von Hauske, America Movil’s Director of Operations, Claro Box TV is not only an offer with pay TV channels, but, adapting to market trends, he considers the device as an entertainment hub.
