Altice Dominicana has reached an agreement with Major League Baseball (MLB) to broadcast all the games on free-to-air and pay TV.
According to Rafael Pérez, representative of MLB in the country, “the Dominican Republic has the largest number of active MLB players outside the United States than in any other territory, therefore it has one of the bases of baseball fans most passionate in the world.”
In addition, Altice has reached an agreement with Multimedios del Caribe for the broadcast of the games through its different media, including CDN Canal 37, CDN Sportmax and CDN Radio. The agreement began last Thursday, March 29, with the Yankees vs. Toronto game.
As part of the agreement, this year the games will also be available via streaming, for free, through websites www.cdn.com.do and www.cdnsportsmax.com.do.
