Apple ran an exclusive agreement with Mexican filmmaker Alfonso Cuaron, aimed at creating original series for Apple TV+, the company’s new OTT, which will be launched next November 1st. Projects will be made with Esperanto Filmoj, his production company, based in London.

This way, Cuaron joins the Apple TV+ talent portfolio, which includes Steven Spielberg, Oprah Winfrey, Kerry Ehrin, Justin Lin and Jason Katims. Some of the original content that the OTT will include are The Morning Show -considered ‘the most expensive series in history’ -, Amazing Stories (by Steven Spielberg), Truth Be Told (with Octavia Spencer), See (with Jason Momoa and Alfre Woodard), and others.

As Apple officially reported, the OTT Apple TV+ will launch at USD 4.99 per month, and those who buy an Apple device will be able to access its contents for free for one year. Cuarón, meanwhile, was chosen as the best director in the last two the Oscars Awards editions for  his Gravity and Rome films, respectively.
