The telecom company Africell has been awarded with Angola’s fourth mobile operator. The Lebanese company was the only company to pass to the second stage of the bidding process.
After a lengthy analysis process and financial aspects of the bid, the Evaluation Committee concluded with Africell’s proposal in a satisfactory manner to the requirements of the procedure, Angola’s interests.
Africell Holding SAL already operates in the Gambia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Sierra Leone, and Uganda. Ziad Dalloul, the company’s founder and CEO, sees Angola as a market with high potential.
