OSN to launch a new pop-up channel in MENA

Nickelodeon and OSN have joined forces to launch a new pop-up channel dedicated to SpongeBob Square Pants. The new channel will be available in three languages including English, Arabic and French. The channel is set to launch on May 29 and will air 24/7 episodes of the popular children’s show until June 13, exclusively available via OSN.

Within the context of global uncertainty with kids being exposed to many difficult conversations, what better antidote than a goofy, gilded special dedicated channel with our beloved yellow sponge, performing silly antics in a pineapple under the sea?”

According to the Director of Affiliate Channels at OSN, Rachna Arora said “As people are spending more time at home, we wanted to offer younger members of the family with some much-needed fun, in addition to our exclusive kids’ channels. We are very excited to launch a unique pop-up channel for one of the most popular cartoon series on our platform – Spongebob Squarepants. Not only are we hosting more than 70 hours of Spongebob on the channel, but also, it will be available in three languages for the very first time.
