Tigo Sports reported that it will broadcast all Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup 64 matches in Full HD. Tigo will also broadcast other sports competitions.
‘For Tigo Sports it is very important to offer the best programming and the best tournaments in national and international football. Apart from the announcement of the next World Cup matches broadcast, Tigo Sports will continue to air the best contents from the Guatemalan National Major League, the country’s National Team and the Futsal. As part of the new agreements ran by the company to broadcast sports events, it will present the Central American Premier Cup, which brings together important teams from Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Panama, and took place until July 20th. The Concacaf Nations League is also included, which will meet the 41 affiliated teams, and in which Tigo Sports acquired its broadcasting rights for four years. The company will air 214 matches, including those played by the Guatemalan National Team as a visitor.
