YouTube to expand non-skippable ads on its platform

YouTube announced that all creators who monetize content on the platform will soon be able to have access to non-skippable ads on all videos. Initially, this option was available only for a small number of creators.
With the extension of this monetization method, the company seeks to improve revenues of creators. Users, however, will have to watch the ads, which have a 15-20 second length. In contrast, the option to “skip ad” appears 5 seconds after the advertising started.
Creators who opt for this option can always deactivate it if they wish, in case they notice, for example, a decrease in audience or revenue. In addition, they will have tools that will allow them to track the performance of this type of ads.
