Chilean telecommunications company VTR announced that, from next July 25th, it will increase the speeds of its residential internet plans, with its Mega 100, Mega 400 and Mega 600 packages.
According to what the company officially informed on its official website, if clients hire the Mega 100 plan, they will have access to the old Mega 30 plan and, from July 25, it will have the Mega 100 active. The plan in question offers 100 Mbps of download and upload of 5Mbps, and its monthly cost is USD 30. The company also gave details about the Mega 400 plan, in which, if the client hires the old Mega 200 plan, he will have access to the new plan from July 25th for USD 38. It Includes 400 Mbps of download and upload of 10 Mbps. Finally, the Mega 600 plan includes 600 Mbps of download and upload of 16 Mbps, and the customer will have access to it from July 25th for USD 44 (if it is hired before that date, the maximum speed will be 400 Mbps).
The already mentioned packages include Netgen WiFi equipment, with new features that allows up to 400 mbps of speed throughout Chile, and other special ones.
