Telecommunications company VTR (Liberty Global) from Chile will broadcast on linear channels of its Pay-TV grid and via streaming the concerts of the Lollapalooza 2016 international festival, which will be held in that country on March 19th and 20th.
Although the festival includes several dates in different cities of the American continent, the Chilean edition will be, for the second consecutive year, the only one to be broadcasted on live television. In addition, special broadcasts began on VTR through channels 701 (high definition) and 101 (standard definition) with music videos, concerts and contents related to the artists that will be part of the tour.
On March 19th, the company will add signals 702 (HD) and 102 (SD) for the live broadcast of the festival, which will also be available for streaming through www.vtreslolla.cl. Special programming includes as a novelty the VTR Stage show, which will air from March 1st, and more than 70 hours of contents on its Video On Demand (VOD) platform www.vtrondemand.com.
