Vh1 unveils special programs for this month

Vh1 India, the International music channel from Viacom18, will be offering news shows, customized music blocks and the most recent seasons of existing shows to its viewers. Shows like ‘Say It in a Song’, ‘Fake Off’, ‘Entertainment Tonight’, ‘Vh1 Trending’ and ‘Vh1 Secret Stash’, among others, will be available.

Hashim D’souza, the English entertainment programming head at Viacom18, revealed: “At Vh1, our aim is to ensure that no matter when people tune in, they have a good time. Even when it seems like there isn’t one, there’s always a reason to celebrate and we like to imbibe that in our programming”.

He also added that: “This month we get into the festive spirit and celebrate festivals in India and across the world, along with showcasing the biggest music award show from the UK. From Women’s March to International Day of Happiness, we’ve got your celebrations covered. So, tune in and get with it”.

Another show to be offered on the channel is ‘Catfish: the TV Show’, as from March 20, each Monday. ‘Vh1 Diva Squad’ will be telecasted, focusing on female musicians with their playlists. ‘Vh1 Flying Colours’, on the other hand, will sir special Holi programs which will feature selected colourful music videos.

The channel is treating its viewers for St. Patrick day which falls on March 17. Musicians from the Emerald Isle will be featured on the channel, alongside other Irish artists. As for the International Day of Happiness which is on March 20, ‘Vh1 Happy Pills’ will be served to the audience.
