Univision announced that its sports channel (Univision Sports) will renew its contents and relaunch itself under the TUDN brand. Although the company did not confirm a definitive date to show the TV network’s new identity, the premiere will be in Mexico, as part of an agreement between the Univision and Televisa Group’s sports networks.
‘We are excited to increase our leadership under this new and solid brand, and offer football fans better services with the highest quality programming and our outstanding group of experts perspective’, said Juan Carlos Rodríguez, Univision Sport’s President.
Some of the sporting events that will be available in the new channel’s programming are the UEFA Champions League, the Mexican Football League, the Concacaf Gold Cup 2019, the Eurocopa 2020, MLS, Mexican and US National Men’s and Women’s National Teams and UEFA Champions League, together with the Univision channels: TUDN, Univision, UniMas and Galavision. In addition, the TUDN brand will be available on the TUDN Radio Network – TUDN mobile app – and on the TUDN.com website.
In regard to Univision’s relaunch, Vince Sadusky, its Executive Director, expressed that the company is ‘satisfying our viewers’ passion for football by giving them more of the content they love through an experience in TV and digital media’.
