TV Peru Internacional expands reach in Latin America

The international channel of TV Peru is now available throughout the American continent. Since October 1, it is hosted on Intelsat 11 satellite, which allows it to expand its coverage. This was announced on social networks by Hugo Coya, Chairman of State-run National Institute of Radio and Television of Peru (IRTP).
“I am pleased to announce that from this midnight (October 1) the signal of TV Peru Internacional has been hosted on Intelsat 11 satellite, a fact that allows it to be captured without difficulties from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego,” said the executive.
State-owned broadcaster TV Peru launched its international signal in December 2017 targeting the four million Peruvians living abroad. Initially, it was available in some cities in the United States. TV Perú Internacional is a pay TV channel that offers cultural, news and entertainment content, wholly produced in the country.
