Turner leads pay TV audience in Peru

Turner Latin America reached the first place in audience among all pay TV groups operating in Peru, thanks to the performance of its channel portfolio, said the company in a press release.
Data includes the period between January 1 to October 31, 2018, where the group reached 22% of the share generated by the channels that ranked in the total universe of people, from Monday to Sunday 24 hours, according to data from Kantar Ibope Media.
At the same time, in the analyzed period, Cartoon Network, TNT, TNT Series and Boomerang were positioned within the 10 most watched pay TV channels in the country.
Linear TV is the platform with the highest audience development for Turner in the Peruvian market. In one month, the contents of the group’s portfolio as a whole are consumed by 6.7 million people.
In the digital universe, the contents of Turner’s brands on social platforms reach 3 million Peruvians, in an average month. Meanwhile, YouTube represents the third platform with the most coverage for the group. The contents of the signals manage to reach more than 1.2 million users in the country in one month.
