TSTV to launch new DTH satellite service in Nigeria

TSTV is the new satellite TV and is partnering with a Europe-based television station, ABS Global, to launch a Direct-to-Home (DTH) satellite TV in Nigeria on the 1st October 2017. The New TSTV will offer a Pay-As-You-Consume TV service, meaning you only pay for what you consume.

TSTV which will soon be available across Nigeria soon offers complementary internet capacity, smart home, ability to pause subscriptions for seven day every month, Video calls and inbuilt 500GB hard drive inside the STBs for content storage, Video on Demand services as well as the regular uninterrupted contents available 24 hours every day.

TSTV is set to offer more than 200 channels with various genres namely: News, Music, General entertainment, Documentary, Movies, Kids, Religious, Events, Sports, Health, Fashion, and Lifestyle channels. Moreover, sports events such as the Premier League, UEFA and the Europa League will also be part of the package.

According to Bright Echefu Managing Director of TSTV: “What makes the project unique is that it would start with 100 channels of local, regional and international programmes in Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, Ghanaian, Sierra Leonean, Liberian languages, among others. It is the first Nigerian TV to launch a pay-as-you-consume, so you can pause your subscription whenever you are travelling.”
