HBO Latin America announced the launch of HBO GO in Dominican Republic in partnership with triple play operator Tricom, available as an add-on service at no additional cost to pay TV subscribers with HBO/MAX premium channels on its package.

“With this launch we are enabling Dominicans for the first time to access exclusive HBO content anytime, anywhere”, Javier Figueras, Corporate Vice President, Affiliate Sales at HBO Latin America, said in a statement.

The executive said they will continue working with Tricom to launch HBO GO as a subscription service “in the near future”.

HBO GO’s catalog has 2,500 titles, including Premium contents such as movies from Hollywood and original series.

Tricom (Altice) is one of the main pay TV operators in the Dominican Republic, where it competes with Claro, Sky, Aster and Wind, among others companies.
