ESPN International announced the launch of ESPNU and SEC Network on Mexican operator Totalplay, which has presence in more than 20 cities in the country.

ESPNU offers 24-hour coverage for college sports and SEC Network targets the coverage of college sports for the Southeastern US Conference.  “ESPNU and SECNetwork offer the best of college sports and it pleases us that Totalplay clients in Mexico will be able to access both networks,” commented Gerardo Casanova, VP and Managing Director at ESPN Northern Latin America at ESPN Mexico.

Casanova explained that both TV channels will offer more than 1.000 exclusive live events including regular season football games, men and women’s basketball, soccer, volleyball, lacrosse and athletics, as well as news shows and original programs.
