Tigo launches One TV platform in Guatemala

Tigo (Millicom) introduced its One TV entertainment service in Guatemala, which integrates linear TV with VOD content from providers like HBO, Crackle, Fox Premium and YouTube.
Tigo One offers features such as live pause, personalization of TV content, a VOD library that includes recently released films and an integrated search engine with results from all platforms: national and international channels, YouTube, HBO GO, Crackle , FOX Premium and VOD. Tigo One TV is also available in apps for mobile devices.
“With our proposal, we seek that users have a personalized experience, integrated and focused on the content. Today, for users it is important to be able to choose how, when and where to watch their favorite programs and be able to do it from any screen with the best quality. The important thing for them is not the distribution platform, the important thing is the content “, commented Alvaro Ruata, commercial director of B2C of Tigo.
Tigo launched One TV initially in Colombia, in September 2017, and then began to roll out the platform, gradually, in the other markets in Latin America in which it operates.
