Televisa Group and Univisión announced that they will launch TUDN, its sports content brand evolution ,on July 20th. The channel, which will combine production efforts of Univisión in the US and Televisa in Mexico, will be broadcast on pay TV 24 hours a day, and its slogan will be ‘Vivimos tu pasión’.
‘TUDN comes up as a specialized service to satisfy the most passionate sports fans, and will offer more live sports than all other media brands in Mexico, so that audiences have access to the most complete sports offer, with a unique experience’, they explained about the new sports brand contents.
Some of the most important will be the MX League matches and the Leagues Cup first edition, apart from the MX Cup, the MX Female League, the Liga de Ascenso, the National Football Teams – both male and female. female-, FIFA and boxing events, NFL, NBA, MLB, Formula 1, CMLL Wrestling and the World Athletics Championship.
Apart from being available on pay TV 24 hours a day, TUDN will also be present at Televisa Group’s FTA TV channels programming grids, such as Canal de las Estrellas, Canal 5 and Canal 9. The new channel’s contents may also be watched through the TUDN mobile application and the website, TUDN.com, where news, analysis, schedules, sports results and special moments will be displayed, as well as live streaming broadcasts for all TUDN’s subscribers.
Carlos Murguia, Head of Productions at Televisa Sports, will express himself about this launch and other issues in the next Sportv Series Latin America edition, which will take place next October 2nd at the Biltmore Hotel in Miami, US, organized by Dataxis.
