Telefonica Media Networks to market Kanal D Drama advertising in Peru

Telefonica Media Networks, through its ad sales area, announced that it will represent and commercialize Kanal D Drama’s advertising in Perú. The TV channel is known for being the first and only that brings together the most successful Turkish dramas in Spanish.

‘We are very excited to add Kanal D Drama into our TV networks portfolio. Peruvian audiences great reception to Turkish dramas made this channel a very attractive option for Peruvian advertisers’, said Javier Patron, Ad Sales Commercial Manager at Telefonica Media Networks. Patrick Rivet, CEO at Thema America, has also expressed himself on this issue and said that the strategic agreement ‘promotes the continued growth of Kanal D Drama in the region, while offering Peruvian market advertisers a more complete and varied  content portfolio for Turkish series lovers’.

Kanal D Drama is the result of a partnership between Thema America, a Canal+ Group company, and Kanal D International, one of the largest Turkish dramas producers and distributors worldwide. The channel offers a catalog of 1500 hours of Turkish dramas per year, with six-hour blocks. Every night, from Monday to Friday, a new episode of each series is released, and, on weekends, binge watchings of episodes broadcast during the week are also aired. Some of the most Kanal D Drama outstanding Turkish dramas are Amor Prohibido, Tormenta de Pasiones, Por mi Hijo, Asya, and others.
